We are the UK's leading tour operator to Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Romania with 51 years of experience in planning and arranging memorable holidays to East and South East Europe. To help our growth plans we are recruiting for the position of Desktop Support Engineer who will provide technical support to internal users on all IT issues, maintain hardware equipment and help with all web and software related projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Desktop Support Engineer will provide technical support to our internal office staff
- Help with IT related projects delegated to the IT department
- You will be willing to assist with the configuration, installation and implmentation of software
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
- Maintain all IT hardware operational and in good order
- Ensure software updates are installed as appropriate
- Provide basic network support and maintenance
- Support website development
- Assist with all computer hardware installations and configurations
- Maintain, record and update all aspects of the IT infrastructure
- Assist staff members with the use of IT software and hardware
- Upgrading software, hardware and network infrastructure as required
- Help diagnose and resolve windows desktop problems
- Perform diagnostic tasks
- Collect, organise and effectively report information

Skills required
- Installation and support for Microsoft Windows Desktop operating systems
- Good working knowledge of all office packages
- Basic network and security understanding
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Professional responsibility and accountability
- Managing your time effectively

We would love to see
- Ability to automate tasks
- HTML or any other scripting skills
- Experience as a Desktop Support Engineer
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Good communication and customer relationship

IT related qualifications are advantage but not essential. It is important that you are able to work both alone and as part of our IT team, have good organisational and time keeping skills and you are confident, enthusiastic and willing to learn.
